(It's better than the Talmud.)
(Romans Chapter 10......all of it.)

The real question is why do so-called Christians fail to celebrate Passover
And instead celebrate the Pagan holiday created by the first Leader of the Roman church,
The Pagan Emperor Constantine.
Constantine as the world leader convened the Council at Nice, which made it anathema
to celebrate Passover and instead created the Pagan feast of Easter.
HaSatan must be pleased.

Jesus was a Jew therefore he would have observed Jewish Holidays.
What Religious Days Did Jesus Observe?
1. Judean Peoples Day
2. Peoples Front of Judea Day
3. Judean Peoples Popular Front Day
4. Groundhog Day
5. First week of Deer season
That is all
The only day Christians are taught to observe is the Lord's day, the first day of the week. On each Lord's day, we are to commemorate the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. There is no need for additional, special "Christian holidays".
This is because there has been some difficulty in determining what Christians should celebrate without appearing to be going back to what Christ grew His word out
from. The Judeo-Christian dilemma.

Thanks for your input Chuck and nice to see you again...
They were the only holy days that God ever created and the only days that God ever sanctioned in the pages of the bible. Other days were invented long after Christ died.
Good enough for me... :-)
The history behind the establishment of Easter as a principal festival within the church is an example of the inculturation of Judeo-Christian and pagan celebrations.
The Judeo-Christian Passover became fused with pagan fertility worship to create a new festival celebrating the resurrection of Christ. This was observed at a different time from the Passover. Known as the Quartodeciman controversy, the debate over when this celebration concerning Christ should be observed reverberated across the empire through the second, third and fourth centuries. Eventually it was established by the Council of Nicea in A.D. 325 and reinforced at the Synod of Antioch in A.D. 341. The Synod called for the excommunication of any who resisted the new Easter observance. Those who resisted were forced to move beyond the reach of the empire.

Or
None of the Jewish holidays are binding on Christians. Everything in the Old Law was a "shadow of things to come" (Colossians 2:17).
Does that mean you throw over G-d's Word for Paganism ?
Jesus established a new testament. He came to "fulfill the prophets", not to destroy the law. The Christian faith which Jesus established rightfully uses both testaments, but Jesus is the pure reelation of the Father, thus surplants the OT when there is a conflict.
If you would read post #10, you would see I don't believe in celebrating any "religious holidays". The only day on which we are to commemorate anything is the Lord's day.
