I thought for sure yesteday afternoon that Bush was going to act. I cannot see how he could hold that press conference and say the things he did without so doing. He has the authority, even the statutory authority based on what the protective services people said, to go in and get her in an emergency threatening her life (and if this is not that, I do not know what is) without any court order whatsoever.
Saying he was going to do so, and then not doing it, is worse than never saying it. I cannot believe he does not intend to do so and I pray and wish he would simply act NOW. Time is of the essence, she is dying with every passing hour.
