Prophet???? Lol! He is the Creator. Just finished watching part 1 of the 3 part series on EWTN, entitled "The Jewish Roots of Catholicism". The host is a Jewish Convert, Brother Bob Fishman. It was absolutely fascinating. There was much I already knew but plenty I didn't. For example, he point to the Torah which says ... 4,000 years ago ... if one amongst you is sick, separate them. It wasn't until the 1700's that 'medical science' discovered "quarantine". The Torah also says that if someone has open wounds and sores, cleanse them with 'running water', i.e. cleanse the wounds in such a way that the water is separated from the household water.
We would read those excerpts from Scripture today and say, "Sure, that makes perfect sense". But these regulations were laid down 4,000 years ago!! Long before the understanding of bacteria or sepsis.
It is a remarkable series and I look forward to the next two installments, tomorrow and Wednesday.
