Huggins is a great coach. Cincy is moving to the Big East next year...and it will be the best basketball conference in the nation...It will pick up Cincy, Louisville, Marquette, and DePaul.
If this enables Huggins ever to get a couple of top 100 players with some height at the same time, then everyone watch out.
Pitino has already done it. His incoming class with boast 2 7 footers, 1 6-10, and 1 6-9 + an all-american level 6-5 guard. Pitino will take the 2007 NCAA championship for sure.
I think Pitino also got a transfer from Kansas this year who will be eligible to play next year. Don't recall his name off hand, but he was one of the top national recruits as a HS senior from somewhere in NV.
I think the U of Washington has one of the best recruiting classes in the country lined up for next year, even better than Louisville.
Yeah, but can they chew gum and walk at the same time? :-)
UNC has an excellent recruiting class coming in too, but not too much was needed, the present team is loaded with youth and talent.
