...it is about saying no to the Enlightenment.I believe that he is referring to the French Elightenment, rather than the English or American. This might be the problem; that troublesome term "Anglican" itself. It does so reek of William Law and Jeremy Taylor and the like. Perhaps the author secretly desires for ECUSA to join "le communion francoise instead?"
