Everyone who cares about his or her Church has had these thoughts and feelings before. It's like when Christ lost his temper at the moneychangers, he just couldn't take it anymore. Part of him was Human. He didn't do something he couldn't take back. It probably was cathartic (sick as he was of seeing His Temple reduced to mercantilism), as this is for the woman who penned it. It becomes dangerous when we dwell on it, and harbor thoughts of how we can continue with it or how we can seek to repay the wrong, but I'm not put off by a passing fit of anger.

I think anger can be good, and can lead to a leap in understanding both of ourselves and those we feel are endangering our welfare or the welfare of those we love, and those we love include the Church.

Yes. And I just found the blog. It's dated 2/25 -- right after the Primates' meeting wound up. This was clearly an angry outburst at the news, just as you suggest, AlbionGirl.

But what is also interesting is that a self-professed liberal so hates the 1979 liturgy (presumably preferring the 1928), and presumably some of the other "innovations."
