A point I strongly agree with, though it's not clear how we get there:

The longest and most effective effort to say everything while saying nothing I have ever seen.
These folks could give Washington politicians a run for their money when it comes to talking around the real issues.
It is that kind of fear of addressing the problem that has gotten denominations like this into the awful spiritual and moral mess they are in.
People need to read the first couple chapters of Revelation; addressed to the seven churches in Asia Minor; and realize that yes, God will remove lampstands that have gone dark...

This Bishop talks like a moderate conservative with his focus on maintaining episcopal unity. Sounds like he could be a good candidate for Griswold's job.
