At 0605 this morning, my wife gave birth to a baby girl, our third girl of six children. Both mother and baby are fine.
Please pray for them and for our family, for our health, for our finances, that I may become a better husband and father, and that love for Jesus may burn in our hearts.

I asked the Blessed Virgin to intercede for us in several matters between 0325 and the birth, both as Our Lady of Lourdes and Our Lady of Good Success. Everything I asked for happened, and I believe she asked her Son to shower his graces on us.

Actual labor and childbirth can be nerve-wracking.
When my older son was born, there were some complications that in retrospect don't seem altogether too grave, but at the time were kinda scary.
God's blessings I pray for you, your wife, and all your children. I know that you will baptize the baby very soon. When we baptized our children, I prayed a lot that the Holy Spirit would truly and abundantly reside in each of them. I believe that God has answered this prayer of mine.
