Should masculine words such as "king" and "kingdom" be allowed? Not if feminists have their way, as they do in a rewrite of the complete Bible issued in four volumes as The Inclusive Hebrew Scriptures and The Inclusive New Testament. The "degendered" Scriptures were produced for a group called Roman Catholic Priests for Equality.
Shunning "Son of Man," these Catholics substitute "Chosen One" or "Promised One."

Everybody eventually gets into this "rewrite the Bible" stuff ~ the SDAs, Jehovah's Witness, Thomas Jefferson, Mohammed, Adolph Hitler, everybody.
Now we get the Catholics putting their hand to it.

Boy, the liberal radical fringe just won't keep away from anything they think they can rewrite. Well let these putrid whackos try and rewrite the bible and the life of Jesus, if they think they can.
This should be fun. Such fools.

Been expected. I understand apostate seminaries have had gender-neutral rules for some time. Students get disciplined for using 'he' or 'father'.

Can't go wrong with the Douay-Rheims!

There is a passage in the King James that goes something like: (my own words) if you add, subtract or mess with the text in any way BAD things are gonna happen to you, Bub.
Sorry, don't recall chapter or verse. Perhaps someone out there does.

Well, feminists have done their best to neuter, change, & de-sexualize the Modern American Male......
Why should the "Gal's" stop at rewriting the Bible ?????

Can't wait for their re-working of the Sacrament of Confession:

Martin may have been on to something with Revelation. Have you read any of the hundreds of other versions that didn't make the grade?
More prayer might still be needed with that one.

It's a retranslation ~ not exactly adding to or deleting of text, and even if you excluded a whole book from the final work, as long as you didn't actually destroy that book there wouldn't be a problem.
Still, this feminist nonsense carried to it's logical conclusion would fail to identify Jesus as a Man, and might well call his Mother his Father.
That would, of course, be well over the line.

"Yeah, feminism is nonsense; I once heard a woman talking about god...she said, "Though God may be a tool, she doesn't have one."
Good grief. No wonder the Bible forbids women from speaking in church.
