lol I've seen it done with the whole family going! Looking at my previous post to you and firerosemom I should have waited until I had cooled off from reading the previous experiences before I commented. Sinkspurs comment made me rethink my post and it wasn't fair to priests who really are legitimately busy, what with the shortage of priests that some areas have. Anyway, I'm sure you already know that you don't have to go to the same confessor each time. See if there's another close-by parish that has more frequent confessions.
This is the south. No parish is close, all are understaffed. But I should make more of an effort. I got spoiled back in Oklahoma, where our priests gave us many more opportunities for confession, and we also lived only a mile from the church!
