But my thinkng is that if God has offered forgveness for sins, I want to take advantage of it all, and not miss out for lack of being scrupulous about it.

My thought was that you should not dwell on your sins. Do not spend a single moment being preoccupied or thinking about sin.

The Good Lord takes all of that away. You obviously have such a good heart and are so on guard against sin that you are oriented toward God.

Keep that in mind and don't sweat the small stuff.

Not as crazy as it sounds, in fact is quite a bit like the thoughts of Augustine posted by Judith Anne:

"Who shall grant me to rest in Thee? By Whose gift shalt Thou enter into my heart, and fill it so compellingly that I shall turn no more to my sins, but embrace Thee, my only Good?"

Ahhh! The beauties of perfection. If only!
