Monday March 01, 2004 7:35 PM Reporting from: Kanoone Sokhan, Los Angeles, CA, USA Reported by: Sadegh Saleh of the “Marze Por Gohar Party” at www.marzeporgohar.org Name of the Speaker: Hoomer Abramian Subject: Religion, Fanaticism and Commonsense -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mr. Abramian lives in Australia. He established “Persian Cultural Foundation of Australia (Bonyad-e Farhang-e Iran, Phone/Fax# +612 98234371). He is born in 1317 H.S. in Hamedan, Iran and is a graduate engineer in building architecture of University in Tehran. After the Revolution he was the head of Iranian Ashourians in Iran. When he moved to Australia in 1998 he started Iranology and in November 2003 he organized the 3rd Millennium Celebration of Zartosht (Zarathushtra). He is one of the people making it possible to put Kourosh’s (Cyrus) statue in Olympic Circle in Sidney, Australia. Mr. Hoomer Abramian’ speech was as followed:

Before Zartosht there were many false gods, whose believers gave them sacrifices. But Zartosht was against sacrifices and believed only in one god called “Mazda”. Mazda is made of 2 words: “maz” meaning “Ziad” (a lot, great) and “da” which is “Danesh” (Science, Knowledge). Therefore Mazda means “the Great Knowledge”. It was this Great Knowledge that created everything. All these universes were created with “Ashae” meaning Order, Harmony. We have to harmonize ourselves with this Order, but first we have to find this Order. The way to recognize this Order is “Vahoomena” meaning “Pendar-e Nik”. “Pendar” means thoughts and “Nik” means: pure, gut, nice, fair. (Ever heard of this fraise” 1- Pendar-e Nik 2- Kerdar-e Nik 3- Goftar-e Nik)* This dose not mean that the heart dose the decisions, but the “Commonsense”. So as soon as we find out what is best for us, we have to take steps necessary to reach that goal.

Jewish People were mass murdered, because a few Jewish traitors crucified Jesus. But this was their own mistake (talking about these traitors not the Jewish people), because they got separated and with outside help they killed their own (brothers). Sumerians (Ashouri) and Babylonians (Baboli) were one before, but they killed each other as well. Iran got devastated, because its people ignored the Ashae (Order, Harmony). They broke the Ashae just like Sumerians and the Babylonians. Now let us take a look at this historic and famous story: “Rostam and Sohrab”. Rostam impregnated a woman and left her and her unborn child, breaking the Ashae. Then he cheats with the rules of the fight, breaking the Ashae. And finally he kills Sohrab, breaking the Ashae, which results him having to live with the knowledge that it was his own son he killed.

After some more examples in the history, Mr. Abramian suggested to establish an Iranian foundation, which is with Ashae and based on Avesta (Zartosht’s Book) or Ferdosy’s Shahnameh or … In the second round of the night questions were answered. One of the questions was: -“You talk about one religion and group of people, but in reality in Iran we have also Arabs and Turks and many more. How could this foundation work?” Answer: -“Iran was a multicultural society from the beginning. Remember Cyrus declared the first “Human rights” and as a result of that Jewish people, who were captivated as slaves had to be freed to return to Jerusalem. And to answer the question, whoever lives in Iran has to follow the Ashae (Order) of Iran and that is what makes him an Iranian, not his race”
