You're probably dead on about the "parents" using the child to advance their political agenda.  However, what authority would the ACLU have over a Parochial School?  I can only speak of the one I send my daughter to, but they don't recieve any Fed/State/Municipal money that I'm aware of.  I'd believe in a case like that, The Church can tell the ACLU to F- off, right?

Yes they can, but that doesn't prevent the ACLU (or other homo-rights groups) from bringing unwanted attention to the school.

A lot of these groups know they have no legal leg to stand on, so they rely on intimidation to achieve their perverted agendas.
