My elderly father doesn't see the erosion that has hit the church. Maybe this will wake him up. He reminds me of several posters on this forum.
SOME don't see it as erosion at all, but a new springtime of the Church, and bubble that the most reverent Mass they ever attended was presided over by a gay priest.
With "friends" like these, the Church does not need enemies.

Pardon me, but I am confused.
I had the distinct impression that "fairyland" was the proper liturgical term for gatherings of liturgists, musicians, vestment makers, liturgical dance coordinators, and others engaged in pastorally sensitive work, seeking a more throughgoing praxis by massage therapy?

Don't forget civilization of love, there is a new springtime and civilization of love.

Bornacatholic almost beat you to it on this thread - we just were discussing this fantasy which he has bought into of the "New Springtime" and "Civilization of Love". I guess we just need the same rose-colored glasses he has to make scandal after scandal of bishops and clergy in diocese after diocese make a mockery of the faith seem insignificant. When will us in the West see God's chastisement as Asia recently did?
