Pray that it doesn't happen, and don't make the assumption that it will.

Frankly, I don't care either way. My family & I are safely out of there. There's more to keeping the Catholic Faith than going to Mass in a pretty pile of mortar & bricks. I'm not going to feed my children just a little poison & tell them it's OK.
Fr. Wickens taught us better than that.

Just scanning through this thread I see many names of freepers who have all been banned in in the past six months. I sometimes forget how many there have been.

They can throw my name on the pile, too.

Interesting. I wish there were a traditionalist Roman Catholic Church in the Boston/South Metro area. Aside from the folks in Still River, I don't know of any.

Word is that there's trouble at the "palace."

"Interestingly, I haven't met a Trad who hasn't fit every negative stereotype yet." Are you including me with your slander?
More than likely, he meant to say "schizmatic". I consider myself a "Trad", and there are mostly "Trad's" at my parish, but I will say that my friends who went SSPX consider me to be anathema... :>( I miss them terribly, and they won't even respond to my emails.

That's terribly un-Christian of them. Ask for the intercession of St. Monica. I think her example is appropriate. They should also take these words of Our Lord to heart as well.
You have heard that it was said to them of old: Thou shalt not kill. And whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment. But I say to you, that whosoever is angry with his brother, shall be in danger of the judgment. And whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council. And whosoever shall say, Thou Fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. If therefore thou offer thy gift at the altar, and there thou remember that thy brother hath any thing against thee; Leave there thy offering before the altar, and go first to be reconciled to thy brother: and then coming thou shalt offer thy gift.

Thank you. St. Monica would be a wonderful intercessor here!

What's going on in West Orange now? Word is that the Board of Directors have ousted Fr. Perricone.
