Nobody's perfect. Thank God Spurgeon didn't stay with Rome and Origen (as do amils) in handling issues such as justificatton, election, baptism, etc. You're right. Justification and election he got from his postmil Presbyterian and Congregationalist brethren. :-)
Outside of Rome, do you know any amils who actually mention Origen?

So, when does Finney get inducted into the GRPL? I guess nobody ever thought of flipping over the Finney Card before.
Look what I found.

lol!
As I don't mention my physical grandfather, though I owe my existence to him, so I don't think many semi-Reformed (i.e. amil) mention their philosophical grandfather Origen.
But the likeness is unmistakable.

But the likeness is unmistakable. Only to folks who merely scratch the surface.

When there's not much to the paint (with amil's RC eschatological decoder-rings), that's pretty much al it takes.

No, indeed! They're building it on the becrowned and bejewelled Pope in Rome!
At least equally.

When there's not much to the paint ... So would you agree that amils resemble Origen about as much as premils resemble Ribera and Lacunza?
