I was just telling someone the other day how much I loved it when some grinning zombie put chick tracts in my halloween candy bag when I was trick-or-treating as a kid.

Oh yeah, you know who got the TP treatment that year.

I was handed a tract a few weeks ago by a patient. The story revolved around the story of the lost fish "Nemo," and his search for his father, and vice versa.

It was actually a cute story, and it made sense in the way our "Father" always looks for us.

Very much like the story, Nemo was swept off to sea. I put the tract in my back pocket, did the laundry that night...and well, you know the rest.

About 10 years ago, a heavy metal record company (I think Roadrunner records) put out a perfect parody of a chick tract.

Chick scared me as a child, I thought they were freaky then. A few years ago, I found out we were living right down the street from Chick HQ. I never went down that way alone, I was afriad I'd get Chick'd.
