"Why join?" Yes, that's the question I've heard from a few people. They ask "why should I 'officially' join an effort, why can't I just make a pledge to pray on my own". Good question. Ever try to lose weight? Quit smoking? Spend less money? Should I go on? Signing up for an 'official' effort will help you be accountable to the process. "But I am very good at remembering to do things like this." Well, I applaud that. However, we know from other instances that many people aren't as good at remembering to keep some important things in their prayers. They need your support! There's truly a role for everyone..
