I might tend to agree, but I WAS an Episcopalian, and I can say that they went into the toilet.
You argue out of a spirit of contention ... not one that desires the truth. You know exactly what I mean. To sell Christianity to the Pagans in the early centuries the 'church' adopted rituals and practices that are not biblical. Actually some of the error may not be Pagan but can be traced back to even earlier religions of the Greeks or Romans.
I'm not sure exactly where on earth you guys dreamed up the crazy idea of a celibate priesthood. I just know it did not come from heaven as it is not only NOT in the Bible .... it contravenes direct Bible teaching. To me the horror of pedophile priests is stark testament to the evil of this practice. One has to be under a spell not to see it.
Just THIS makes Roman Catholicism in danger of hellfire. However I personally believe any catholic who holds to the core of the religion, ie that Christ died for them will be saved. Even though they commit error such as the idolatry of praying to ANYONE but God.

What's so hateful? I'm not bashing. I am simply speaking the truth. I eschew Protestant denominations with equal fervor. But the error of Roman Catholicism is many times worse than Protesttant error ... in general. I save my bashing for religions like Jehovah's Witnesses or ... cults that imprison people and such.
But still ... it's words. Just words. There are things going on that require more than words ... like Islamofacism. You cannot rank me with these who are truly hateful. Would you accuse Christ of being hateful towards the Pharisees whom he called whitewashed tombs? Outside, clean and white but inside full of dead men's bones? That's much stronger language then I have used here.
I think you need to examine your own heart. Are you living a lie? I lie so big that one who points it out to you is guilty of evil and hate? I hate no one guilty of less than willful multiple murder or violent crimes against children.
That you accuse me of hate tells me that you hate.
