The trouble with Ratzinger is for whom does he speak? An ambivalent pope and his free association with anti-Christian forces? A college of cardinals each with his own petty personal agenda largely to do with preserving his comfortable lifestyle rather than any serious belief? A collection of beefy bishops who like to think they are gods in their own miserable backyards and engaged in dodging continuous lawsuits brought about through their unholy activities? Masses of timid priests, perverted, corrupted, compromised, continually looking for holes in which to hide from the savage world outside? And millions of aimless sheep who no longer know why they go to church if they go at all? Good old Ratzinger gets more reactionary by the day. It is now too late to put the modernist genie back in the bottle. He will be ignored more by his fellow prelates than by his victorious secular adversaries.

Cardinal Ratzinger, who is considered one of the most conservative voices in the Roman Curia, heads the Vatican's Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, a Church body formerly known as the Inquisition.

Face it, Europe! You can't Torquemada anything!

The Inquisition (Let's begin) The Inquisition (Look out sin)

We have a mission to convert the Frenchie Poos (Poo,Poo,Poo,Poo,Poo,Poo,Poo)

We're gonna teach them wrong from right.

We're gonna help Chirac see the light

and make an offer that they can't refuse. (That those Frenchie Poos just can't refuse)

The Inquisition (what a show)

The Inquistion (here we go)

We know you're wishin' that we'd go away.

But the Inquisition's here and it's here to stay!

I would suggest the trouble may be with the question -it is not a whom it is a what; as in Truth...

The Church is not temporal -God is not limited --'it' can never be too late...

Faith is not a concept...

I think this is a geunine problem. It's actually been a problem since Vatican II, which seems to have permitted every bishop to be his own little church. But it's particularly acute now.

The congregation seeks to spread sound doctrine and defend those points of Christian tradition which seem in danger because of new and unacceptable doctrines", the Vatican's website explains.

The congregation has failed miserably in its mission.

Now it's trying to close the barn door, but the horse is long gone. It bolted about 40 years ago.
