I have a possibly related, but maybe even better question: what were Egan and Mahoney up to? How did they vote on things? Did they speak? Nominate......or orchestrate things behind the scenes?

Remember: these are two of Bernadin boys......cut from the same cloth as their masters.....both the earthly and unearthly ones!

Yes,Mahoney is a bad one and definitely a big player in the game. But I think you have Cardinal Egan mixed up with Monsignor Egan, also of Chicago, who died in the last year or two. He worked hand in glove with Saul Alinsky and was a figure of national noteriety.

Cardinal Egan was a priest from Chicago, went to school in Rome, came back and was secretary to the Cardinal before Cody. Worked for Cody for two or three years and went to Rome in 1973. He was there until 1985 when he was installed as a bishop in the New York diocese. He and Bernardin never worked together at all. I wrote all this up when Egan became archbishop of New York. At that time I had more info on the other Egan at hand.

While I don't particularly like Cardinal Egan and I wish he would have done many things differently, and it is possible that he is a homosexual protector and a schmoozer of the very rich and powerful, his connection to the Chicago gang and Bernardin in particular is misplaced. He is not that Egan. We are in a greaat battle in both the natural and supernatural worlds,it is imperative that we always seek, find, tell and live the truth.

Now if there is some information that is contrary to anything I have posted please let me know because to commit error to paper results in more confusion and we all know who benefits from that.
