But you are clever enough to figure it out.

That is, if you were clever enough to lay aside your biases and listen to Holy Spirit about it.

A few quick, brief comments . . .

The consensus of Christianity from the first century on was that the Canon was closed.

You folks seem to believe and imply, rather unBiblically, that all the prophetic output up to John penning the last word in the last sentence of Revelation was Canonic.

That's simply false. It's clear from Paul's writings that many prophetic utterances had nothing to do with SCRIPTURATING, as I think the professional term is . . . there was no intent at all in such prophetic utterances or inputs to add to the building Canon.

Such non-Canonical prophetic inputs then, as now were given for personal direction, edification, growth, encouragement, exhortation and the like.

Not very complicated, really--when one has a well studied Biblical awareness and a fair-mindedness open to Holy Spirit.
