He has always been a faithful pastor. If ever there was a living example of Jesus living through someone it is in him. However, he has said that he has asked the Lord to search his heart and reveal anything in him that is not pleasing to Him. He said that the knowledge of standing before a Holy God is an awesome thought for him and he desires to be ready as best he can to do so.
Your post made me think of that. I want to do everything I can to be obedient and pleasing to Him because I never know when I will be standing before Him.

Am soooooo inadequate at even beginning to perfect myself. Often enough all I can do to cooperate with Jesus WHO IS the author and finisher of my faith and of me.
