The interesting thing about it is that it explains the existence of human remains that pre-date the biblical timeline following Genesis 1:2, without conflicting with the literal interpretation of the 6 day creation. If the Bible had gone into greater detail on this era (between Gen 1:1 and 1:2, the christian-evolutionists wouldn't have a mutant gene to stand on.
