Unlike the position of some "Christian" churches, the eternal, unchangeable teaching of the Catholic Church is that abortion is intrinsically evil and cannot be endorsed under any circumstances.

I believe many "conservative" Catholic Freepers think abortion is OK in case of rape and incest as evidenced by their support of President Bush. Do you think if Bush was Catholic he should be excommunicated?

That's one of the things that define your Christianity. For example, one cannot claim to be a Catholic and not believe in God [Who, btw, is the Creator of all life].

I don't know of a single "Catholic Freeper" who supports any form of abortion.

I don't know of any Catholic FReepers who believe that. As you know, one is permitted to vote for the most pro-life of the two candidates running. That would be George W. Bush.

Do you think if Bush was Catholic he should be excommunicated?

Absolutely not. He is pro-life.
