Why is the RCC more important than being a Christian.The true Christian religion does not exist outside of the Roman communion.
religion being mans attempt to be righteous apart from God
"religion consists in offering service and ceremonial rites to a superior nature that men call divine" (Cicero, Rhetoric 2:53).

"The true Christian religion does not exist outside of the Roman communion."
I didn't see roman communion mentioned anywhere, I do see this theme repeted many times.
"Romans 10
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
""religion consists in offering service and ceremonial rites to a superior nature that men call divine" (Cicero, Rhetoric 2:53)."
Rhetoric from Cicero.. even James, in his strawy little epistle, made a better argument concerning the nature of true religion.
"James 1
26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world."
