You are correct.

The pre-trib rapture theory is not directly based on exaggerated literalism, as some would argue. It is based on the radical distinction that some folks make between Israel and the Church.

They argue that God cannot deal again with Israel until the Church is secretly removed from the earth.

As if God has not been dealing with Israel for the last 2000 years.

A pre-trib rapture seems to be a necessary part of dispensationalism, without the removal of the church and the distinction between the church and Israel the rest of the teaching falls apart.

Yes, God has been dealing with Israel for the last 2000 years, but He has been hardening Israel (Rom.11).

That 'hardening' will cease when the Church is removed and they recognize their Messiah at the 2nd Advent (Zech 12)

It would be nice if you anti-Dispensationalists would at least try to understand what we say.

Straw men are really a waste of time to everyone.
