The original article appears to have disappeared from the Times-Union's website, but it read in part:
[Sharon] Witbeck also questioned the [Diocesan abuse mediation] program's independence since it and [sprogram system administrator Howard] Levine's $350-an-hour salary, are funded by the diocese.
