"And Joseph awoke from his sleep and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took Mary as his wife, but kept her a virgin until she gave birth to a Son; and he called His name Jesus." Matt 1:24-25

She wasn't a perpetual virgin either.

"And Joseph awoke from his sleep and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took Mary as his wife, but kept her a virgin until she gave birth to a Son; and he called His name Jesus." Matt 1:24-25

This verse talks about what happened up to the time when she gave birth, it says nothing about what happened afterwards. So, it does not support your claim.

    un·til   Audio pronunciation of "until" ( P )  Pronunciation Key  (n-tl)
    prep.
    1. Up to the time of: We danced until dawn.
    2. Before (a specified time): She can't leave until Friday.

"She can't leave until Friday" does not mean that she did leave on Friday or anytime thereafter.
