One bows down to, worships and prays to God. One does not bow down to, worship and pray to a any human being. This is the first Commandment, and it goes without saying.

To place a human being at a level anywhere close to the Christ and God is heresy notwithstanding it be "decided" by some counsel of mere men whether they be elders in any church or not.

[Stubborn]

No Catholic worships MAry no matter how much you might like that they do. Do you not know that even Christ Himself asked His mother for things? He wants us to do the same.
