I agree with you very much on the scriptural truth of whatever a man thinks so he is as well as confessing ones faith with ones mouth. Thank you for reiterating these truths on this board.

I think it's a major tool of satan,
to get HUMANS to take Scriptural truths and run sky west and crooked with them--and then to get masses of other people to throw the baby out with the bath water as a result.
Discernment and rightly dividing and discerning between the bone and the marrow may not be easy or even quick . . . but we are called to do it and equipped with Holy Spirit, to do it.
Another major problem is RELIGION--taking 'the law' and making an idol out of it or some part of it--and usually some special interpretation of it that boosts our egos in certain social contexts. Hideous tendencies in all that, sadly, imho.
