You know, the rapture doctrine may just mean that the deadwood will be removed from the Earth and the rest of Gods children will undergo the fire of the tribulation forge to temper them in God's ways, and it is they who will expereince the thousand years of golden age after the tribulation.

In the Bible, God does not seem inclined to pamper His people, but subjects them to hardship and trials to improve their mettle. I'd be real careful of this "rapture" stuff; it may be in fact apostacy.
