And so God said, let "us" make mankind in "our" image. The words "us" and "our" refer back to Elohim, which is to say God and the host of heaven, or God and the angels. It does not say that man just looks like God, does it?

"Us" and "our" don't have any Strong's numbers to refer back to the Hebrew or Greek sources. I take it that you figure that opens the words up to interpretation. You don't think the "us" and "our" are just the royal use of the two words?
