"Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason than that of blindfolded fear."

-- Thomas Jefferson

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; Fools despise wisdom and instruction."
"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."
"The fear of the LORD prolongs life, But the years of the wicked will be shortened."
"The fool has said in his heart, 'There is no God.' "

-- God
