In his unsuccessful attempts to fulfill the request made by the Blessed Virgin to the children at Fatima that Our Lord wished Russia consecrated to her Immaculate Heart, Pope Pius XII consecrated the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on October 31, 1942 and again on the Feast of Her Immaculate Conception on December 8, 1942. Our Lady had never requested to the children at Fatima that the world be consecrated to her, only Russia.

On July 7, 1952 Pope Pius XII consecrated Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary but he did it alone without all the bishops of the world solemnly doing the same in their own cathedrals.

Mary is such a stickler for details. She's not happy with a consecration of the entire friggin'world to her Immaculate Heart, nor is she happy when the Pope consecrates Russia to her in his capacity as Pope.

She's also not happy when John Paul II consecrates Russia to her.
