Well what you should do now is go ask a Rabbi as I'm taking the Jew's view of it from their commentaries.
I don't care who's view you're taking of the origin of Romans -- YOU stated that the British were descended from Romans. That's WRONG. The WElsh MAY be descended in part from Romans, but the English aren't.

According to Assyrian records (British Museum), they were used along the northern borders of Assyria as a buffer.
I was talking about the arrogance of those who say to follow their way or you're doomed to Hell.
However, if you are NOT descended from the Israelites, then, by the hereditary is all logic, you can't be saved. Can you then become a bloodline descendent of Israel? No. Isn't that excluding a lot of people? The native Americans are the people most likely NOT to have any Israelite blood. If a native American became Christian, I believe he/she would be saved -- by the bloodline logic, they would not. I do not agree with that.
Let me try again. Being an Israelite, whether Jew or otherwise (wherever "otherwise" is) has nothing to do with being saved and inheriting the kingdom of Heaven. It only has to do with buying the hatchet between the descendent's, whoever or wherever they are, of the old northern and southern kingdoms.
So long as you go to God through the living Christ, in His name, and have sealed yourself to Him, you will inherit the kingdom of Heaven.
The Hosea prophecy is an Israelite thing. That's all.
You made this statement about not being in the lineage of the tribes denies you being saved, and I have put out this answer at least three times. You must have a problem with accepting that you don't have to be genetically an Israelite to be saved. You must think that notion flawed somehow. What's your objections and considerations about that?

No-one's asking if you were. It's just that there is a historical fact that the Romans left before the Anglo-Saxons came in. The English are mostly descended from Anglo-Saxons

Well, that's better than being told that since you were not born of Israelite blood, you're doomed to hell. At least with those who ask you to follow their way, they give you an option, with the other way, you are doomed no matter what.

Thank you for clarifying your point of view -- that is a pretty reasonable approach -- I must have mixed up your views with #3fan's which was as I noted above. I apologize.

"I'm frankly surprised by the shallowness of your responses here and in other posts today. You are not even faking a decent intellectual response anymore....If this is the level of your intellect it must be time to go back and play in your sandbox." I'll let the readers decide.

No need to apoligize. You do a good job of arguing your position. #3Fan was hanging onto some mighty thin fringes. Such folks make it hard to discuss this topic rationally.

Just bumping this topic into the list, not sending a distribution. I'm glad I found this, and thanks to Destro for posting it. There are a number of "lost tribes" topics from this week, and I wanted to make sure this got in. Please FREEPMAIL me if you want on, off, or alter the "Gods, Graves, Glyphs" PING list --
