The time is right for Kaiser Karl, whose leadership example could sway some important Catholic votes.
"[Democratic presidential nominee] John Kerry is a Roman Catholic, but he's promised that won't have an effect on his decision-making," Brother Nathan pointed out. "That's exactly backward from what the church teaches, and how Karl ruled. His Catholicism colored all his decisions. He wasn't ashamed of that."

God judges individuals, but God judges nations too. The fruit of abortion is nuclear war, as Blessed Mother Teresa said. That fruit is about to fall from the tree. Pray fervently to stop it. Pray as if your own city was about to be erased.

Great post! Our parish is sending a delegation to Rome to meet with HIM Otto, the late Emperor's oldest son, and to attend the beatification.
I posted an article on the subject of the late Emperor Karl's cause a few days ago; interested Freepers may wish to take a look at it as well.

Thanks for the post on the good and saintly Kaiser Karl. If he had been Emperor in 1914, we would have been spared the appalling bloodbath of World War I, and the West would be in much better shape than it is today.
