I didn't say it was incomplete, I said "it would seem." The point about corruption in the church is well-taken, since man in imperfect, but what do you say about these seemingly-contradictory verses?

"Be ye followers of me, as I also am of Christ. Now I praise you, brethren, that in all things you are mindful of me: and keep my ordinances as I have delivered them to you" (1 Corin. 11:2).
"Understanding this first, that no prophecy of scripture is made by private interpretation. For prophecy came not by the will of man at any time: but the holy men of God spoke, inspired by the Holy Ghost" (2 Peter 1: 20-21)

I guess I'm not seeing the contradiction. One verse is about Paul's authority and the other is about the inspiration of the scriptures. Do you know what ordinances Paul is talking about? Do you suppose he told them everything that he wrote in all of the epistles or maybe he told them not come to church drunk?
