Catholics believe the door between death and life is very thin, hence the communion of saints. I find it inpractical that while we ask a total stranger on an internet to pray for us but not God-the-Son's mother who lives in heaven.
Thanks for the discussion, but I'm not really up to a big debate (using totally inapplicable scripture) about Marian doctrine right now. You'll have to find someone else to "care" about.
