Nor is the minister of Holy Communion passing judgement on the persons subjective guilt, but rather is reacting to the persons public unworthiness to receive Holy Communion due to an objective situation of sin.
LOADED QUESTION:
Where does that leave Joe or Jane Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist?

Where does that leave Joe or Jane Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist? No EEM should take it upon himself or herself to refuse the Eucharist to anybody. If a pastor directs them to, they should follow his direction.

It's not loaded--if you look at R's letter, it's clear as crystal: REFUSE them!
An even better question: what about Joe/Jane who vote pro-abort BECAUSE it's pro-abort?

Uh. It can leave the EMEs back in the pews where they belong. Duh.
