Found the following on Carol McKinley's blogspot. As she 'aptly' notes:

"Link to Walter Cuenin's invitation to join the gay Bishop who left his wife and family for his homosexual lover for a nice religious celebration ...

These folks haven't been blessedly silent in over a decade...they've only become more strident. We give them WAY more attention than they deserve. Best to just ignore their rantings and when come at us with demands that they be: a)married, b)ordained, or c)allowed to go uncorrected in their sin, do what Nancy Reagan suggests..."JUST SAY NO."
When they whine and demand to know why, treat them like the spoiled children they are and say, "Because God says so, that's why. Now go clean your room."

"...they want opened to allow gays to fully experience "God’s unconditional love."

Of course, they already can.

Step One: Repent.
Step Two: Go and sin no more.

Let me guess, they want to change that formula.

Demanding that Catholic and other religious leaders include gays in the full life of the church, pastors on Tuesday nailed their controversial "Phoenix Declaration" to a symbolic door they want opened to allow gays to fully experience "God’s unconditional love."

Their gesture sought to recreate what Reformation founder Martin Luther did in 1517 in nailing the "95 Theses" to the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany, to protest Catholic practices and abuses.

These ultra-liberal "mainline" clergy mis-leaders--who are mainly UCC, Unitarian pagans, and other kinds of apostates (including one Lutheran apostate)--have figured out how to insult both Roman Catholics and Lutherans in one fell swoop!!!! It is too bad that they are doing this in Arizona, a state with many, many churches full of real Christians of many denominations. What a travesty!!

God indeed offers those who call themselves "gays" the fullness of his love. God loves them so much that he wants them to come out of their sin, their political and social delusions, and their life-threatening habits, and be transformed by the Holy Spirit, so that they may have life, and have it abundantly!!!!

Mainline mis-leaders offer "gays" a false kind of "love" that is only self-indulgence. An they offer the Rest of Us a diluted form of "religion-in-general" that bears no resemblance whatsoever to true life in Christ!!!!

Does mean they're going to form their own Church and leave us alone?

A girl can dream, can't she?

Let the wannabe splitters have their day in the sun. They will rue their decisions on The Day of the Son.

What is worse is that the media is treating this bunch of perverts as if they are the second coming of the apostles! I have learned that anytime someone starts talking about a "new" revelation from God that flat out contradicts the "old", it is time to ask them for a drug test.

Why do you want to take up arms against them? Would taking up arms actually change their will?

A better challenge might be to address how to redirect their thinking towards even a glimmer of faith. Once they become obedient to Him through faith, homosexuality is no longer a viable option. A temptation might exist, and a greater temptation the longer they scar themselves in homosexuality, but it still is impotent to sincere faith in Him.

"Would taking up arms actually change their will?"

It settles that perennial question, "Who gets to keep breathing?"

"Once they become obedient to Him through faith, homosexuality is no longer a viable option."

I think you misread me. I'm not talking about taking up arms against homosexuals, but against those who are out to destroy our civilization. The forced legitimization of sexual disorder is only one of their strategies.

Homosexual Agenda Ping - This Is Really Important. Read the whole thread, please.

This statement in particular got my ire up:

***"We stand with the countless Christian ministers, scholars, and laity who, from prayerful study of the Scriptures and Christian tradition, find no rational biblical or theological basis to condemn or deny the rights of any person based on sexual orientation," the declaration states.***

Well, I can find no rational or theological basis for these deviants and deviancy promoters to call themselves religious, or even human, for that matter. Human in form, but not in mentality.

The effrontery and shamelessness of these so-called religious leaders is shocking and I can't even imagine the destination that awaits them. To profess oneself as the servant of God and yet use one's power and influence to promote sexual deviancy - in the NAME of serving God - is beyond hateful.

Talk about "haters"? These people are the haters.

I hope Bishop Olmstead is doing some hard praying and getting his spine further stiffened. Maybe people should contact him with words of support, what do you think?

Let me know if anyone wants on/off this pinglist.
