Heck, "You guys" even "celebrate" Easter Sunday on Saturdays. Actually, Pius XII was the Pope who allowed the celebration of the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday night.

Actually, Pius XII was the Pope who allowed the celebration of the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday night. As I recall, in the late 50s and early 60s anyway, the Easter Vigil started at 11:00 p.m. on Holy Saturday, so that the Mass proper could start right at midnight (Sunday).
