fulfills their part of their relationship with God.
When CHRIST DECLARED

and God is clearly intent on our RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM
TO THE AVOIDANCE OF
RELIGION!
Protestants are little to no better on that score, however.
Sigh.
God wants us to avoid religion? Then why would St. James exhort us to avoid self-deception and practice a "religion clean and undefiled before God and the Father" (i.27)?
