Give him a break -- he hasn't been here that long. He's still dealing with the sex abuse crisis suits, and he just announced the closure of 60 parishes in the Archdioceses (from what I heard on Howie Carr yesterday -- and I didn't hear the whole thing -- a number of the closed parishes are ok financially but apparently foster dissent). He can't do everything at once.
And a response to a suit means those remaining Catholics pay. The Church is like the government in that sense -- no money of its own.
Sorry, not buying the line that he has more important matters than saving immortal souls. Did he close that parish in Newton with all the heretics? Has he said he would deny communion to Kerry, Kennedy and the rest who favor evil acts? He even allowed Kennedy communion at his installation mass, right?

Before you are so willing to give him time......ask around what happened in Fall River when he closed parishes there. Find out what happened at St. Stanislaus church. Find out what he did when he found out about a couple of priests accused of molesting some girls.... you may change your mind about this "seemingly" wonderful person.
