OK, this multiple personality McClave think is starting to confuse me now. I was willing to drop this after the whole "I share a computer at work with Stephen Hand" thing, but the strange properties affiliated with this screenname keeps getting brought up (and by McClave themselves) - and I'm getting more rather than less confused.

So far, we know based on McClave's own words:

"McClave" is at least three persons ("Ian and your friends").
At least one of the persons is named "Ian".
At least one of the persons "shares a computer at work" with Stephen Hand.
At least one of the persons gets personally offended by comments against Stephen Hand and has quick access to Stephen Hand's personal family history (daughter's schooling) and opinions (whether Amy Welborn is a modernist or just a dissenter).
At least one of the persons has a historical knowledge of Free Republic posters or discussions that have happened in years past.
At least one of the persons is actively trying to determine other posters' real identities.
All of the persons view themselves as "defending the Pope" and promote the TCRnews.com website.

Given that, my questions for McClave are:

Do these multiple persons who make up the "McClave" identity each have access to the username/password on separate computers, or are you working as a group in physical contact with each, collaborating on each post?
Could two messages that come from "McClave" actually be coming from different people?
Is there a specific reason or advantage for multiple people using the same Free Republic username?
