as I read his whole piece, he comes across as very authentically and totally what he purports to be. He's a very rabid Christian (according to a very narrow definition) bigot.
He actually, except for his stab at the South and slavery--he comes across as a Southern redneck snake handling Pentecostal sort of believer.
I just find his piece very typical of his type of Christian.
He'd be frightening even to me if he wasn't so rabid as to be . . . beyond the pale of most thinking persons.
On the other hand, I think he makes a lot of good points about our excesses in a stupid, self-sabotaging direction as a culture which has left our Judeo Christian base in favor of satanic social influences.
Well, you certainly are entitled to your own opinion.
I read him as being sarcastic and trying to bait people, which is why i said what I said to YOU!
You might be right.
Either way, he scares ME! Any zealot does!
