WHO ( or what) is Willy H Spanjer MK3?
The unlamented old headmaster?
That was my impression reading this also. It is so over the top as to be baiting us here at FR to make us look like dangerous religious fanatics!
You can't always fool freepers! :-)
Oh man, he got ugly later on. Post 108 has been pulled, but look at some of the responses to it.
No one would do such a thing to you. You're much too beautiful...:)
You are very kind, but *I'M * not betting on that! :O:!
( and thank you! )
Yes.
Quite unlamented.
He was quite the *cough* wannabe.
He'd have staked me through the heart after dousing me in holy water.
At least, I've had people similar to him scream that I should experience such.
Thankfully, his kind isn't representative of the majority of those I knwo that profess to believe.
Most Christians are okay. It's just the fanatics you have to watch out for.
But that goes for ANY religion
Please save me from "followers" of Jesus such as this one! What a total nutjob.
Sorry to hear about the headmaster.
I know.
*chuckle*
Don't be sorry about the headmaster.
It takes a special type of personality to LOSE an arguement that uses your own lexicon and concordance against you, and tehn THROW SAME BOOKS OUT afterwards.
Yeah, that headmaster did that.
He lost a theological arguement against me when I used his own 'personally approved' books against him.
So he threw them out.
*snicker*
He stated that it was impossible for him to be wrong.
Oooooh, Darksheare, you screwed up and let him know he was fallible? NOT smart! LOL!
Were there witnesses?
Sounds like he suffers from the sin of Pride!
Witnesses, the whole class...
*snicker*
He also prayed loudly about stuff like, money.
Money was teh first and foremost thing he'd pray about.
And it was also the last thing he'd mention.
Then he'd turn around and berate everyone aboutteh evils of same.
Yeah, not smart about exposing fallability like that.
It was no wonder I didn't last there long after that.
I can see why he hated you!
Poor Darksheare! I'm glad you got out!
Isn't it interesting that those tend to be fixated on money?
He was also fixated on other things, but since no-one complained it was pretty much 'no harm no foul' in a way.
(The girl's soccer team said he was 'creepy'.)
It was quite interesting.
I was at that school when Desert Storm started.
He told us about how he'd been in the Marine Corps (if he was ever a Marine, then I'm Santa Claus) and then he berated us about 'thou shall not kill' (it's thou shall not murder in the original hebrew, which he didn't want to hear.) and then had a 'friend' of his come to the school.
His friend told us about how we could 'get out of a draft' and such things.
He told us about conscientious objector status, and then said that he'd offer it to all of us but we ALL had to agree to it as a whole class.
He also claimed to know for a 'fact' that Desert Storm was all about oil..
I stood up and made a short speech about patriotism, military service, and honor.
A few in the class said, "Yeah!"
I got 'detention' for it.
Later on, the headmaster, Mr Spanjer, asked me what my plans for the future were.
I said that I wanted to join the military.
He smiled, and then said that I'll never serve in uniform, if he has any say about it.
YUCK!
Well you sure proved HIM wrong!
( and thank you again for your service! )
The girl's soccer team was probably right
LOL!
Yeah, I did prove him wrong.
And yeah, I agree with the soccer team, he was VERY creepy.
INDEED! THANKFULLY.
Did Andy Rooney give you permission to use that line?
It was the first thing that popped into my head the second I heard him say it. Its not a very original question to come up with and I am sure Rooney didnt do it on his own either.
