If you have any information that might help the Bishop regarding Fr. If Olmsted is the man of God you paint him to be, he will refuse your "help."

It is becoming clear that Bishop Olmstead understand the nature of the problem with the Phoenix Diocese.

oh vey
ignore posts from you-know-who (in case you do not already know about his (her?) odd behavior)
every time I give up on him (her?) he comes out with a good observation, but there are so many troll-ish posts in between from him (her?) that I label any posts coming from him (her?) as toxic

Bishop Olmsted is trying hard to undo Bishop Thomas J. O'Brien scandal fest in the Diocese of Phoenix. He's even restoring the traditional Latin Mass. But, why is he going after traditional Catholic chapels that kept the Faith despite Bishop O'Brien?
I think he has called them not Catholic. I suppose to a NO Bishop there is a certain truth to that, but they have maintained the faith while all about them it was disintegrating. I would think we owe a certain amount of thanks to traditionalists like the SSPX. Without them there would be no incentive whatever for NO Bishops to consider the Tridentine Mass.
I believe that Bishop Olmstead has stated that he is offering the Tridentine Mass now to recapture those who have fled the Church to the SSPX Chapels.
While it's a commendable action, and certainly a good start, and I understand he has plans to add more Priests to the 'program', I wish he would have more faith in the salvific properties of the Mass than just trying to thin the ranks of the SSPX.
I understand the Priest who is heading up the Tridentine endeavor has said a Priest who had recently gone to SSPX because he wasn't allowed to say the Tridentne Mass has been excommunicated. Is that true? Or an outright lie that he cannot substantiate?
It would seem unusual to outright excommunicate a good Priest, and yet equivocate over excommunicating a reprobate such as Cunningham.
