I haven't conversed with you before, but I pray for you. I know the Lord will bring you comfort. I hope these words will help as time passes.

Why?

When we have a tragic event, we often ask why? It is a natural response and not a weakness in faith. Our Heavenly Father does not forsake us for asking these questions. He expects us to seek answers from Him. If we turn the weight over to him, some day we will understand. He will lift the burden and we will find peace.

The premature loss of a loved one is one of the times that we seek answers. Why me? Why did this happen? Why did this happen to my family? Have I done something wrong?

Turn the burden over to him. Read His Word, seek His Guidance. Then listen, to what He says. He will answer, but we must listen. Listen not with your ears but with your heart.

We are allowed freewill during our brief mortal lives.

In times of tragedy, human words are hollow though well meaning. We can believe in Him or we can ignore Him. If we believe in Him, we will get all the answers when it is time for us to understand. If we listen to Him now with all our heart and soul, we realize we already have the answers.

He is the Answer. He is the Light. Surrender unto Him, your heart, your mind, and your soul.
