I'm thinking maybe all the prayers sent his way will t the least get him (?) some help - which he apparently needs, even if he maliciously set out to make us all sad for him, and isn't mentally ill. From the history in the link Coleus posted, I'm thinking it was a game.

Those prayers were not lost.Someone mentioned it reflected our knowledge of pain and loss and to simply say it was from us to us for any loss in the past or loss anyone is facing.To read this thread is to know how vey fortunate we are to post together.

Do not worry..prayers are never lost,just reassigned.You did not cause the pain we all felt..the hoaxer did that.

I think not. Honest prayers aren't dependent upon the goodness of the heart of the intended recipient. In fact, why pray for someone who's heart is already pure and steady?

My prayers and practice will go to immediately bring about the most auspicious circumstances for Bogdan's ultimate enlightenment. I hope he enjoys them.

I was also taken in by "bogdanpolska", and offered a prayer. Actually, he's much worse off than if he had lost his wife.

Everyone, sooner or later, loses his wife or her husband. To engage in outright deceit and lies, for the purpose of humiliating others, is much more of a personal loss. It means he's lost his honesty and his truthfulness, and sincerity in relating to others. If he can do this on FR, he undoubtedly is insincere and untruthful in other areas of his life.

So actually we should now pray for him that he can have a change of heart and straighten out his life, which must be in the shambles of lies and double-dealing.

Your heart was in the right place. Don't feel bad...no harm was done. I believe God knows those of us who prayed weren't doing so out of haughtiness or pride. The person who should feel bad is the one who lied.
